HANOI- weekend life

After a few days in Hoi An we were more than happy to be back to the capital city. As I said before I found Hoi An very tame and touristy. And when we got back to Hanoi we immediately caught the weekend party vibe and spent amazing 48 hours.

First of all, our hotel was in a super convenient location with all the nightlife happening at the door. On Saturday morning Tomasz got up quite early and went photo shooting while I did my gym session and went to a hairdresser for a fresh blow dry and some curls. And when we met we started our food crawling that somehow a few hours later smoothly turned into bar crawling till early morning hours.

It looked as if all the young people of Hanoi made it to the city centre. All the street kitchens took out thousands of small plastic chairs to the streets and made them jam packed! It was impossible to walk through any of the streets as they were flooded with people eating and drinking.

We ate really amazing street food. We were lucky to meet some young english-speaking locals who not only ordered for us the same food as they were having but also told us how to mix it all and basically how to eat it.

Hanoi was love at first sight and it remained so. It was quite sad to say goodbye to Vietnam, but we knew that our next destination was going to be relaxing and we were to be spoilt for choice when it comes to food.
